What to Expect at
Your First Appointment

While we provide individualized hearing care for each person, your first appointment will be broken into a few key parts:

Conversation:

Our audiologists will discuss what your hearing needs are, your medical history, and what your goals are for the appointment.

Ear Exam:

Using an otoscope, we will look inside your ears to examine the ear canal and eardrum. We want to ensure your ear looks healthy before moving onto testing.

Hearing Test:

Sitting in a soundproof booth with a pair of headphones on, you will listen for a series of sounds at different volumes and pitches.

Audiogram:

We will go over the results of your hearing test (audiogram) with you and go over management options.
